Semi Senior Architect Drafter (Part Time, Michigan)

We’re looking for a Semi Senior Architect Drafter to support one of our clients in Michigan. This is a part-time remote position and availability to work in should be on Eastern Time.Apply today!
This role requires strong client-facing skills, autonomy, and the ability to lead pre-construction phases, including technical services, site visits, and coordination with architects and subconsultants. If you’re determined, organized, and eager to grow within the industry, we want to hear from you!
What you’ll do:
- Develop construction documents for an industrial processing facility prototype
- Coordinate with structural and manufacturing engineers to integrate components within the building shell.
- Translate initial design input into precise technical documentation using Revit.
- Ensure all deliverables align with permitting requirements and client expectations.
- Handle tasks independently with minimal supervision while staying aligned with the project vision.
- Maintain organized, clear communication with the client and internal team members.
- Optionally support a church project as a secondary engagement during negotiation phases.
What you must have:
- A degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 3 + years of experience in architectural drafting, ideally with industrial or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Strong ability to coordinate with engineering disciplines.
- Experience working remotely and self-managing deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and a highly structured approach.
- Advanced English level and excellent communication skills.
- A proactive mindset and the confidence to move forward with limited guidance.
