Description

We are currently searching for a Wind Engineer to work in our solar business segment, where we primarily examine wind loads on ground and roof-mounted solar arrays. This may include aeroelastic testing of instability on solar trackers. You should be available to work Mountain Standard Time (MST) for this part-time opportunity. Apply today!

What you’ll do:

  • Interact with clients to gather project information and perform initial project planning.
  • Coordinate with project management, model design, wind tunnel model shop, and technicians to ensure accuracy of project drawings, model construction, and data collection.
  • Develop test plans, analyze data, and compile report deliverables.
  • Present results and recommendations to clients and consult with them to determine suitable design solutions.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of systems and techniques.

What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. 
  • 1-3 years of engineering experience in Wind Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Good time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 
  • An advanced English level. 

A great plus:

  • Previous experience working for the US
