What you’ll do:
- Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- System Monitoring: Monitor server performance, system logs, and respond to alerts to ensure optimal operation.
- Security: Implement security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and system patches to protect against threats.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Bash, Python, or Ansible for system management tasks.
- Backup & Recovery: Design and implement backup strategies and recovery plans to ensure data integrity.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues on Linux systems.
- Collaboration: Work with other IT teams to integrate Linux systems with other platforms (e.g., Windows, cloud services).
- Documentation: Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and updates.
What you must have:
- 3+ years of experience managing Linux servers (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python), experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet), and strong knowledge of networking concepts.
- RHCE, CompTIA Linux+, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- An advanced English level.
A great plus:
- Experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
- Understanding of DevOps principles and tools.
