Description

Do you have experience as a project manager architect and have a team of drafters ready to start? If you have experience with high-rise and mixed-use projects, then you are a perfect fit. In this part-time role, you will lead a team of drafters to ensure the smooth progress of every project phase for a Canada-based architectural firm. You and your team should be available to work in the Central Time (CT) zone.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and manage a skilled team of drafters, ensuring they are equipped to deliver excellent results.
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, maintaining a strong focus on detail and quality, throughout all phases: SD, DD, CD.
  • Demonstrate autonomy in decision-making and problem-solving to drive projects forward.
  • Ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline project processes.
  • Understand and interpret Canada building codes accurately for correct use.

What you must have:

  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Experience with high-rise and mixed-use projects.
  • Preference for working with small groups or firms.
  • Understanding of the use of standard workflows, guidelines, and checklists. 
  • An established team of drafters is ready to hit the ground running.
  • A track record of successfully managing teams and delivering architectural projects on time and within budget.
  • +10 years of experience as an architect.
  • +2 years of working experience with Canada.
  • +3 years of experience as a project manager or coordinator.
  • An advanced English level.

A great plus:

  • Familiarity with Ontario building codes.
