Unlocking remote work success: 7 steps from the world’s most innovative companies
Thinking about joining BetterPros? We understand–who wouldn’t want to work for some of the fastest-growing, most creative businesses on the market? From architecture and engineering to IT and marketing, our job offers really span the full spectrum of possibility.
Becoming a BetterPros professional is an easy, 7-step process that can take, from start to finish, as little as 4 days. Read below to find out what it entails!
The 7 steps to becoming a BetterPros professional:
1. General interview
After receiving your application (you can apply through our LinkedIn job offers or on our web), we’ll set up an interview to get to know you and what you’re looking for, professionally.
2. Create your portfolio
Then, we’ll send you a portfolio template which you’ll be able to fill in with your personal info, the projects you’ve been working on, and any relevant past experience.
3. Job offer
Once we are familiar with your previous experience and the kind of role that you’d be interested in, we’ll add you to our talent pool. As soon as we hear of an opportunity that we think could be right for you, we’ll reach out.
You will then let us know if the position interests you or not. If it doesn’t, don’t worry! We’ll keep looking. But if you do wish to go ahead, we’ll send your portfolio to the client. That’s why that document is so important: it’s the first impression you’ll make on your future client!
4. Interview training
If the client feels like you would be a good fit for their company, we’ll set up an interview between you and them. This is one of the key steps of the process, and we’ll help you prepare so that you’ll be able to showcase yourself in the best way possible.
5. Interview with the client
If the client considers that you have the skills you need for the role: congratulations! You’ll have become a part of the BetterPros family. Your journey will be full of personal and professional growth, and we’ll be by your side the whole way.
6. Onboarding
After the client’s confirmation, we’ll get started on the onboarding process and clear up all administrative issues so that you can begin your new job in no time.
7. Kick off
Finally, we’ll coordinate a kick off meeting with the client, where they’ll tell you all about your role, answer any questions you might have, and establish what the work hours will be.
And with that, you’ll have gained entrance to the world of BetterPros remote work! You’ll experience different cultures, face new and exciting challenges, join some of the most experienced and fastest-growing teams, and untap your full potential. Our community will be there to support and help along the way, and to ensure that everything runs smoothly. We can’t wait for you to join us!
