What you’ll do:
- Prepare Federal U.S. tax returns for Individuals, including Forms 1040, 1040-NR, and FinCEN Form 114.
- Prepare Federal U.S. tax returns for C Corporations (Forms 1120), S Corporations (Forms 1120-S), and Partnerships (Forms 1065), with additional focus on state tax returns as applicable.
- Prepare Financial Statements (Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Trial Balances) in compliance with GAAP, with an emphasis on real estate and passive activity companies.
- Utilize and manage tax software efficiently, with preference for UltraTax CS.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of all tax and accounting deliverables.
What you must have:
- 4+ years in a full-service tax accounting firm.
- An advanced English level.Â
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and tax software. Familiarity with UltraTax CS is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Federal U.S. tax regulations, international tax compliance, and GAAP principles.
- Previous experience working for the US.
A great plus:
- Handling taxes in foreign jurisdictions and state tax returns.
