What you’ll do:
- Design, configure, and maintain SCADA systems using Wonderware (AVEVA System Platform, InTouch, Historian) and Ignition.
- Integrate SCADA systems with SQL databases for data collection, reporting, and real-time monitoring.
- Collaborate with control engineers to ensure seamless integration between PLCs and SCADA systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot communication protocols, including BACnet, OPC, Modbus, and Profinet.
- Participate in commissioning, testing, and validation of SCADA and control systems at client sites.
- Develop system documentation, including functional specifications, standard operating procedures, and user manuals.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards, cybersecurity best practices, and company guidelines.
What you must have:
- 7+ years of experience in SCADA system development, integration, and support, with a focus on Wonderware (AVEVA) and Ignition platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL database design, queries, stored procedures, and integration with SCADA systems.
- Solid understanding of PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley and Siemens preferred).
- Strong experience with communication protocols such as OPC, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and BACnet.
- Familiarity with industrial networking concepts, including VLANs, IP addressing, and firewalls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications in Wonderware, Ignition, or related SCADA platforms are a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written); bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
