What you’ll do:
- Design, train, and deploy machine learning models for natural language processing (NLP) tasks like text translation, language detection, and text-to-speech using AWS services (Amazon Translate, Polly, SageMaker).
- Develop and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure for real-time and batch translation services, utilizing AWS tools (Lambda, EC2, ECS, S3, SageMaker) for model deployment and management.
- Build and manage data pipelines for multilingual dataset collection, preprocessing, and translation using AWS Glue, Kinesis, and other tools.
- Seamlessly integrate translation models with AWS-based applications, web services, and APIs, ensuring high performance and availability.
- Regularly monitor and optimize translation model performance, accuracy, and latency.
- Ensure translation services comply with data security, privacy regulations, and handle sensitive content appropriately.
What you must have:
- 5+ years working with AWS cloud services, particularly in AI/ML and NLP for translation tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Deep knowledge of AWS AI/ML tools like SageMaker, Translate, Polly, and Comprehend.
- Strong programming skills in React, Python, Rust, Java, or similar, with experience in NLP libraries (PyTorch, NLTK, SpaCy, Hugging Face Transformers).
- AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred).
- Proven collaboration skills and experience leading AI/ML projects.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in distilling technical requirements from business vision.
- Advanced written and spoken English.
