We are looking for a Semi Senior Architect to collaborate with our New York-based client. You must be available to work on Eastern Standard Time (EST) for this Full-Time position. Apply now!

What you’ll do:
- Develop layouts for residential spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas, with a focus on optimizing space and flow.
- Create schematics and detailed designs, transforming initial concepts into detailed plans, including selecting materials and finishes.
- Work with contractors, providing clear and actionable design documents for implementation.
- Produce construction documents, including detailed drawings, floor plans, elevations, and other essential documents.
- Select materials, suggesting and choosing suitable finishes that align with the project’s scope and budget.
- Create simple 3D models, if necessary, to visualize layouts or specific design features.
- Coordinate projects, ensuring designs align with contractor capabilities and construction timelines.
- Optimize space, focusing on practical design solutions that maximize the use of available space in residential renovations.
What you must have:
- A degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating detailed drawings and layouts.
- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling for visualizing spaces (if needed).
- Experience in residential renovations, specifically kitchen, bathroom, and living space design.
- Ability to translate conceptual designs into clear, actionable documents for contractors.
- Understanding of materials and finishes suited for residential projects.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with contractors and clients.
