We are looking for a talented professional to collaborate remotely with our client, an interior design firm based in Illinois. You should be available to work Central Time (CT) for this flexible opportunity. Apply today!

What you’ll do:
- Coordinate project deliverables within the allocated schedule.
- Ensure holistic design documentation, considering 3D space functionality, materiality, and performance.
- Maintain design intent through problem-solving and documentation alignment.
- Develop and review design documentation from Schematic Design through Construction Administration.
- Create CAD drafts, redlines, and coordination drawings with vendors and consultants.
- Design and detail custom furniture and fixtures, ensuring constructability and alignment with design vision.
- Use Bluebeam to provide redlines and clearly communicate revisions.
- Oversee construction administration, including shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
- Manage and mentor junior designers, providing training and guidance.
- Maintain project trackers, ensuring team utilization and efficiency.
What you must have:
- Extensive experience in architectural interior design documentation.
- Strong proficiency in CAD drafting and Bluebeam.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience mentoring and training junior designers.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
