What you will do

Design, analyze, and document building electrical systems from concept through construction.
Develop electrical one-line diagrams and power distribution systems.
Design and lay out power, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
Perform branch circuiting and prepare accurate panel schedules.
Conduct lighting calculations using industry-standard tools to meet required light levels.
Perform and document short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash studies.
Write and maintain project-specific electrical specifications.
Conduct field investigations and site visits to evaluate existing conditions and gather data.
Prepare scopes of work based on site assessments and client requirements.
Review project submittals and shop drawings for design compliance.
Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, mechanical, and structural disciplines.
Assist in fire alarm system design and develop associated specifications.
Design low-voltage systems including communications, security, and access control.
Support construction administration activities as needed.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver code-compliant, cost-effective solutions.

What you'll need to know

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3+ years of experience in electrical design .
Advanced English level.
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
Advanced English level.
