What will I do in a remote Drafting role?

As a drafter, you’ll play a key role in turning architectural concepts into clear, buildable documents. You’ll work from existing designs provided by U.S.-based clients, creating detailed technical drawings and supporting the production of construction documents.

We’ll match you with a client whose work style aligns with yours. Some professionals prefer fixed hours, like 8 to 5, while others value more flexibility. Either way, the client sets the expectations, and we make sure to connect you with a company that fits your preferred way of working, all from the comfort of your own home.

What skills are important for Architectural Drafters?

Drafting Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Experience with Revit or other CAD tools is a plus.

Attention to Detail: Precision in linework, dimensions, and annotations to meet U.S. standards.

Understanding of Construction Drawings: Ability to interpret and document floor plans, sections, elevations, and details.

Communication: Collaborating remotely in English with architects and team members to clarify requirements and provide updates.

Time Management: Working independently while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.

Do I need a degree or certification to apply?

A degree or certification in drafting or architecture helps, but it’s not mandatory. We care more about your ability to deliver precise technical drawings, your knowledge of industry standards, and your experience working on real projects.

Certifications in AutoCAD or Revit can enhance your profile, but your portfolio and drafting skills will speak for themselves.

What tasks will I handle as a remote Architectural Drafter?

Creating detailed technical drawings from design sketches or markups

Drafting construction documents, including plans, sections, and details

Revising drawings based on feedback and updates

Coordinating documentation with remote teams

Ensuring compliance with U.S. building standards and drafting conventions
