As-Built Documentation Services convert redlines, field markups, or existing drawings into an updated 2D drawing set. Scan to BIM starts from point cloud or laser scan data and builds a full 3D BIM model. If you already have scan data and need a coordinated model, that’s Scan to BIM; if you need updated drawings reflecting as-built conditions, this is the right fit. We help you figure out which one during your intake call.
Can you work from point cloud or laser scan data we already have?
Yes. If you have point cloud data or laser scan output from your own survey, your specialist can convert it into 2D as-built drawings. We don’t perform the physical scanning ourselves; if that still needs to happen, we can help you think through what to look for in a scanning partner.
