We’re looking for a Semi Senior Mechanical Engineer to collaborate remotely with a Mississippi-based firm delivering mechanical solutions for commercial, mixed-use, educational, office, healthcare, and industrial projects. What you will do

  • Design HVAC and plumbing systems for a wide range of building projects.
  • Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing.
  • Produce construction documents using Revit.
  • Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and owners to ensure integrated solutions.
  • Respond to RFIs, submittals, and construction-phase questions.
  • Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
  • Support projects from design development through construction completion.
  • Contribute to technical discussions to improve quality, efficiency, and performance.

What you'll need to know

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience designing building systems (HVAC and plumbing).
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (required) and AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of ASHRAE, IMC, IPC, and applicable building codes.
  • Experience across commercial, educational, office, healthcare, or industrial projects.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Proactive mindset, accountability, and the ability to manage responsibilities with autonomy.
