What you will do

  • Develop and run hydrologic and hydraulic models using MIKE SHE and MIKE 11, creating input files from scratch.
  • Perform model calibration, scenario analysis, and post-processing of grid and result files.
  • Edit and create grid files and program structures within MIKE 11.
  • Conduct water resources analyses grounded in hydrology, hydraulics, and hydrogeology principles.
  • Use ArcGIS to support modeling, data analysis, and spatial interpretation.
  • Communicate modeling approaches, results, and recommendations clearly with clients.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, supporting their technical growth and project contributions.

What you'll need to know

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering (or related field).
  • 3 + years of experience in water resources engineering or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with MIKE SHE and MIKE 11.
  • Solid understanding of ArcGIS, hydrology, hydraulics, and hydrogeology.
  • Experience with model calibration, scenario analysis, and result interpretation.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to supervise junior engineers.
  • An advanced english level.
