Are you skilled in Excel and data visualization? We are looking for a talented Energy Data Analyst to remotely support our Bahamas-based client. This unique property and marina operation needs a simple, precise cost-modeling tool to understand and optimize power usage across their island sites. What you will do

Build a structured cost model to analyze diesel generator energy production and usage.
Create a locked Excel spreadsheet tool with a single Inputs tab and a clear, user-friendly Dashboard.
Calculate cost per kWh by day, week, and month based on load, generator efficiency, and fuel use.
Incorporate fuel costs, staff time, consumables (oil, filters, parts), and maintenance factors.
Adjust cost scenarios for varying occupancy levels and marina activity.
Report on cost per employee/FTE and scale the model for multiple generators and sites.
Document your methodology and provide clear usage instructions.
Conduct a light back-test using provided historical data.

What you'll need to know

3+ years of experience in energy cost analysis, mechanical engineering, or similar data modeling roles.
Demonstrated experience modeling diesel generator systems, efficiency curves, and load-based cost variations.
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to translate operational energy data into clear financial and operational insights.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Experience presenting cost or efficiency recommendations to operational teams.
Advanced English level.
