BIM Modeler Drafter (Full Time, Florida)

We’re looking for a BIM Modeler to join one of our clients based in Florida. This is a full-time remote position, and you must be available to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST). Apply now!

What you will do

  • Develop detailed 3D models in Revit across SD, DD, and CD phases for a variety of building types, including condominiums, office buildings, medical facilities, car dealerships, and other commercial projects.
  • Produce full CD sets including floor plans, sections, and elevations.
  • Prepare Permit Sets for submission to local authorities.
  • Accurately pick up and implement redlines throughout all design phases with special attention to detail.
  • Collaborate closely with a BetterPros Project Manager who serves as the main point of contact with the end client.
  • Identify missing information, detect design issues, and proactively propose solutions.
  • Maintain a high level of autonomy in task execution while staying aligned with the PM and the broader project vision.

What you'll need to know

  • 3+ years of experience as a BIM Modeler or Revit Architect.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit (required), with strong speed and accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Bluebeam (required) for redlines and document review.
  • Experience working a wide variety of projects (condominiums, office buildings, medical facilities, car dealerships, and similar building types).
  • Solid understanding of full project lifecycle (SD through CD), with proven experience working independently in US projects.
  • Hands-on experience with concrete, wood framing, and steel framing systems.
  • Experience working in collaborative environments using tools such as Autodesk Forms (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud).
  • Advanced English level.
  • Ability to manage and complete project scopes with minimal supervision while keeping the PM informed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify design and constructability issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and methodical approach.
