We’re looking for an Architectural Drafter to support a New York-based studio working under OOOA office standards. What you will do

  • Draft details, plans, elevations, and zoning diagrams for architectural, structural, waterproofing, and plumbing drawing sets, following OOOA office standards.
  • Develop roof waterproofing details with technical precision.
  • Produce zoning diagrams and plot plans aligned with project requirements.
  • Draft plumbing details, plans, and riser diagrams.
  • Develop architectural details, elevations, and plans.
  • Take direction and feedback through mark-ups, Slack/Google Chat, and Zoom calls.
  • Proactively communicate progress to complete tasks on a clear timeline.
  • Maintain consistency, accuracy, and coordination across all drawing sets.

What you'll need to know

  • Semi-Senior level, with 5–10 years of experience as an Architectural Drafter.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam.
  • Advanced English level with clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience drafting across architectural, structural, waterproofing, and plumbing disciplines.
  • Solid understanding of drawing standards and the ability to follow office-specific guidelines.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively communicate to keep tasks on track.

A great plus

  • Experience with rendering.
  • Familiarity with U.S. residential and architectural documentation standards.
  • Long-term mindset and interest in building an ongoing working relationship with the studio.
