About this job

Are you a detail-oriented and skilled Architecture Drafter who enjoys producing high-quality technical drawings and plans? Do you like working closely with a design team to translate architectural concepts into clear and accurate construction documentation? We’re looking for an Architectural CAD Drafter to join our design team.

This role involves working closely with our in-house team to produce high-quality technical drawings and plans that support architectural projects. Using CAD and BIM software, you’ll translate architectural concepts into clear and accurate construction documents. Projects include residential (single-family) developments. This is a full-time remote opportunity aligned with Eastern Time (ET).

What you will do

Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and details using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD/BIM software.
Create detailed construction drawings, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, millwork details, and furniture layouts.
Produce SD–CD sets including floor plans, sections, and elevations.
Work closely with architects to understand project requirements and translate design concepts into technical documents.
Make timely revisions to drawings based on feedback from architects and project managers.
Assist in preparing presentation packages and design documentation.
Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for all projects.
Follow CAD and filing standards.

What you'll need to know

Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit.
Understanding of architectural design principles, building systems, and construction methods.
Experience working on residential (single-family) projects.
Advanced English level and strong communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to perform self-quality checks.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A great plus

5+ years of experience in architectural drafting or a related role.
Proficiency in SketchUp, Rhino, or other design software.
Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software.
Familiarity with collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, QuickBooks Time, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Teams).
