About this job

Are you a detail-oriented, skilled drafter who enjoys producing accurate, high-quality technical documentation? Are you comfortable working under an architect’s direction and carrying every revision through to the last detail? We’re looking for an Architectural Drafter in Revit & AutoCAD to join our client’s architecture team.

Our client is a Los Angeles-based real estate redevelopment company focused primarily on commercial and residential projects. They have an in-house architecture department led by their Architect of Record (AOR) and are seeking drafting support under the AOR’s supervision. In this production drafting role, you’ll follow the AOR’s direction and complete accurate drawing revisions. You’ll prepare and update drawings in Revit and AutoCAD, implement corrections, and produce construction documentation. This is a full-time remote opportunity with overlap with Los Angeles working hours (Pacific Time, PT).

What you will do

Prepare and update architectural drawings in Revit and AutoCAD.
Implement AOR redlines, design revisions, and plan-check corrections.
Produce plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and construction details.
Maintain BIM models and coordinate consultant backgrounds.
Follow the AOR’s direction and make sure every revision is completed accurately and on time.
Perform self-quality checks before each submission.
Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for all projects.
Follow BIM and filing standards.

What you'll need to know

Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (required).
Working knowledge of Rhino (required).
Familiarity with AI-assisted architectural workflows.
Solid understanding of BIM, architectural detailing, and construction documentation.
Experience working on residential (single-family) projects.
Advanced English level and excellent communication skills.
Availability to overlap with Los Angeles working hours (PT).
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to perform self-quality checks.

A great plus

Experience preparing California permit sets.
Familiarity with applicable California codes and regulations.
Experience on commercial projects.
5+ years of experience in architectural drafting or a related role.
Familiarity with collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, QuickBooks Time, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Teams).
