What you will do

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in NetSuite, including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
  • Ensure all inventory movements are properly documented (purchase orders, sales orders, transfer orders, adjustments, and more).4
  • Monitor stock levels in real time to prevent stock-outs, overstock scenarios, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Track slow-moving, obsolete, or at-risk items and communicate findings to operations and purchasing teams.
  • Enter and validate goods receipts and inventory outflows against purchase orders and internal transactions.
  • Process warehouse/location/bin transfers, ensuring alignment between system data and physical inventory.
  • Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and build assemblies for finished goods, kits, or bundled products.
  • Execute build and unbuild transactions, ensuring accurate component consumption and production reporting.
  • Coordinate with production/operations teams to confirm system builds match real manufacturing activities.
  • Perform regular cycle counts, physical counts, and reconcile NetSuite records with actual inventory
  • Investigate and explain inventory variances, documenting and supporting adjustments as needed.
  • Prepare inventory and variance reports, recommending process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

What you'll need to know

  • Proficiency in NetSuite (must-have), with hands-on experience in inventory, fulfillment, purchasing, and/or manufacturing modules.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, filters, etc.).
  • Experience managing inventory transactions and system data with high accuracy.
  • Ability to investigate discrepancies and provide clear explanations supported by documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and a process-driven mindset.

A great plus

  • Experience in reporting, operations analysis, or process improvement within a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of supply chain workflows, manufacturing processes, or warehouse operations.
  • Prior experience working with BOMs, assemblies, or similar system configurations.
