Architectural Project Manager (Full Time, Florida)

About this job

Are you an experienced architect with a strong command of construction documentation and a passion for seeing projects through from concept to completion? Are you a natural leader, detail-driven, and confident representing a firm across clients, contractors, and municipalities? We’re looking for an Architectural Project Manager to join our Florida-based client, Stiles Architectural Group, on a full-time remote basis. Apply today!

BetterPros unlocks human potential by offering competitive compensation, flexibility, constant learning and growth, and the opportunity to work anywhere you want with one of our +130 active clients across the United States.

What you will do

  • Lead architectural services across multiple simultaneous projects, from preliminary design through construction administration.
  • Develop programming and design concepts of varying complexity, including site planning, building design, and interior space planning.
  • Produce and oversee full DD and CD sets, including floor plans, sections, elevations, permit sets, and contractor document packages.
  • Pick up and incorporate redlines into updated drawing sets.
  • Direct and supervise in-house Project Assistants in the production of construction documents.
  • Coordinate with consulting engineers to integrate their work and drawings into project deliverables.
  • Provide construction administration services including field inspections, drawing clarifications, shop drawing reviews, product approvals, and permitting coordination.
  • Manage project administration: financial budgets, contract development and negotiation, consultant contracting, and accounts payable approval.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations with clients, governmental agencies, and internal corporate divisions.
  • Represent Stiles Architectural Group professionally across all client and stakeholder interactions.

What you'll need to know

  • Proven experience managing architectural projects through full project lifecycle, including Construction Documents and Construction Administration.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Strong working knowledge of Florida codes: zoning, building, life safety, and related regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2014 minimum required) and Revit/BIM.
  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies, systems, and basic MEP systems.
  • Experience working on commercial projects.
  • Strong reasoning ability — combining logical and technical thinking with design practice, with deep knowledge of building component interrelationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
