We’re looking for an Assistant Architectural Designer to support one of our client’s design teams, contributing to architectural concepts and detailed documentation across multiple project phases. What you will do:

  • Assist in the development of architectural designs, conceptual sketches, and design presentations under the guidance of senior architects.
  • Produce schematic drawings, renderings, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and related tools.
  • Prepare design documentation including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details in line with project standards and specifications.
  • Support site analysis efforts, review surveys, and research zoning codes and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to integrate engineering systems and building technologies into architectural designs.
  • Assist in preparing project proposals, client presentations, and internal/external design documentation.
  • Participate in design charrettes, brainstorming sessions, and design critiques, contributing fresh and innovative ideas.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to help ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in architecture and design.
  • Provide support on additional tasks as assigned by senior architects or project managers.

What you'll need to know:

  • A degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Experience producing architectural drawings and design documentation across multiple project phases.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and visualization tools.
  • Strong technical and creative skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of building systems, construction methods, and design coordination.
  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

A great plus:

  • Experience working on projects in the U.S. market.
  • Familiarity with local zoning codes or building regulations.
  • Experience creating presentation-ready graphics or renderings.
