Are you a detail-driven AutoCAD Architect with solid U.S. residential experience and a strong grasp of wood frame construction? We’re looking for a semi-senior to senior AutoCAD Production Architect to support Single Family Residential projects for a U.S.-based architecture studio. What you will do

Support Single Family Residential projects from Conceptual Design through full Construction Documents.
Act as a direct technical extension of the Principal Architect, working one-on-one with increasing autonomy as trust is built.
Develop complete, coordinated, and permit-ready drawing sets in AutoCAD.
Produce high-quality floor plans, elevations, sections, construction details, schedules, and annotations.
Apply wood frame / timber frame construction knowledge to technical documentation and detailing.
Pick up and implement redlines accurately across SD, DD, and CD phases.
Prepare permit sets for submission to local authorities.
Develop Construction Document sets for presentation to General Contractors.
Translate design intent into clean, organized, and technically sound drawings.
Maintain clean layer management and file structure across multiple ongoing residential projects (up to 3 active at a time).
Proactively flag missing information, inconsistencies, or coordination issues.
Ensure all documentation meets U.S. residential drafting standards and production workflows.

What you'll need to know

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
Semi-senior to senior level — solid hands-on experience required (not a junior or recent graduate profile).
Proven experience in Single Family Residential projects.
Solid knowledge of wood frame construction / timber frame construction.
Strong experience with construction details and technical documentation.
Advanced English level.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
Working knowledge of Bluebeam.
Strong experience developing full Construction Document sets across SD, DD, and CD phases.
Ability to pick up redlines and produce coordinated, high-quality drawing sets.
Ability to follow U.S. permitting and documentation standards.
Strong attention to detail and production-focused mindset.
