What will I do in a remote BIM role?

You’ll help architectural firms in the U.S. develop, organize, and maintain digital building models. You’ll use tools like Revit or Archicad to support tasks like creating 3D models, developing all 2D drawings from Schematic Design to Construction Drawings, developing all standards and templates, and overseeing and organizing workflows.

We’ll match you with a client whose work style aligns with yours. Some professionals prefer fixed hours, like 8 to 5, while others value more flexibility. Either way, the client sets the expectations, and we connect you with a company that fits your preferred way of working, all from the comfort of your own home.

What skills are important for remote BIM roles?

BIM Software Proficiency: Experience with software like Revit, Archicad, or similar tools is essential.
Model Organization: Ability to build, structure, and maintain clean, coordinated models.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding architectural detailing, drawing sets, and project documentation.
Collaboration: Communicating with architects, engineers, and project managers across disciplines.
Time Management: Delivering consistent results and meeting project milestones remotely.

Do I need a degree or certification to apply?

While a degree in architecture or a BIM-related certification can boost your profile, they’re not required. What matters most is your hands-on experience, accuracy, and ability to contribute to coordinated, high-quality models and documentation.

Certifications in Revit, Archicad, or other BIM platforms can help you stand out, but we’re looking for professionals who can deliver reliable results and adapt to client workflows.

What tasks will I handle as a remote BIM specialist?

Your main responsibilities will involve supporting U.S.-based clients with modeling and documentation tasks, including:

Creating and maintaining BIM models from existing designs.
Organizing views, sheets, and details for construction documentation.
Collaborating with multiple disciplines for model coordination.
Ensuring compliance with U.S. standards and BIM protocols.
Working closely with architects and technical leads to keep models accurate and organized.
