We’re looking for a BIM Modeler to join one of our clients based in California. This is a part-time remote position, and you must be available to work in Pacific Standard Time (PST). Apply now!

What you will do

Develop and maintain detailed 3D models and Construction Document (CD) sets in Revit across SD, DD, and CD phases.
Produce floor plans, sections, and elevations for custom residential and specialty construction projects — including custom pools, hot tubs, and cold plunges.
Prepare permit sets for submission to local authorities and documentation packages for General Contractors.
Accurately pick up and implement redlines throughout all project phases.
Review the full project model to ensure consistency, constructability, and coordination across disciplines.
Identify missing information, detect design issues, and proactively propose solutions.
Collaborate closely with project leadership while maintaining a high level of autonomy in task execution.

What you'll need to know

3+ years of experience as a BIM Modeler, Revit Architect, or Senior Drafter.
Advanced to expert proficiency in Revit (required), with strong speed and accuracy.
Experience working on custom residential or specialty construction projects.
Advanced English level.
Solid understanding of the full project lifecycle (SD through CD), ideally with experience working independently.
Ability to manage and complete project scopes with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify design and constructability issues.
Excellent communication skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented, and methodical approach.
Comfort and experience working within a team led by female management.

A great plus

Experience with millwork, carpentry detailing, or specialty construction details (e.g., sauna cabins, ceiling details with integrated lighting).
Revit parametric family creation — particularly for building custom product libraries (pool components, wellness elements, and similar).
Experience with Bluebeam and/or BIM 360.
