We’re looking for a BIM Modeler to join one of our clients based in California. This is a part-time remote position, and you must be available to work in Pacific Standard Time (PST). Apply now!

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain detailed 3D models and Construction Document (CD) sets in Revit across SD, DD, and CD phases.
  • Produce floor plans, sections, and elevations for custom residential and specialty construction projects — including custom pools, hot tubs, and cold plunges.
  • Prepare permit sets for submission to local authorities and documentation packages for General Contractors.
  • Accurately pick up and implement redlines throughout all project phases.
  • Review the full project model to ensure consistency, constructability, and coordination across disciplines.
  • Identify missing information, detect design issues, and proactively propose solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with project leadership while maintaining a high level of autonomy in task execution.

What you'll need to know

  • 3+ years of experience as a BIM Modeler, Revit Architect, or Senior Drafter.
  • Advanced to expert proficiency in Revit (required), with strong speed and accuracy.
  • Experience working on custom residential or specialty construction projects.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Solid understanding of the full project lifecycle (SD through CD), ideally with experience working independently.
  • Ability to manage and complete project scopes with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify design and constructability issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented, and methodical approach.
  • Comfort and experience working within a team led by female management.

A great plus

  • Experience with millwork, carpentry detailing, or specialty construction details (e.g., sauna cabins, ceiling details with integrated lighting).
  • Revit parametric family creation — particularly for building custom product libraries (pool components, wellness elements, and similar).
  • Experience with Bluebeam and/or BIM 360.
