About this job

Are you a highly experienced architect who thrives at the intersection of design leadership, technical oversight, and stakeholder coordination? Do you enjoy guiding teams through every project phase while keeping schedules, quality, and communication on track? We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager Architect to join our team and collaborate with our client in Colorado. This is a full-time opportunity aligned with Mountain Standard Time (MST). If you’re ready to take on a leadership role and act as the bridge between clients, consultants, and drafters, this role is for you!

BetterPros unlocks human potential by offering competitive compensation, flexibility, constant learning and growth, and the opportunity to work anywhere you want with one of our +130 active clients across the United States.

What you will do

  • Lead the team through the SD, DD, and CD phases, ensuring schedules, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
  • Clarify and manage responsibilities between clients and AOR, ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Develop initial design proposals (interiors, kitchens, bathrooms, layouts, façades) and refine them into detailed, permit-ready CDs.
  • Build and manage a BIM model in Revit from scratch, using CAD input files and coordinating design iterations.
  • Ensure deliverables meet the required Level of Development (LOD) for Denver permitting, maintaining accuracy, standards, and consistency.
  • Oversee annotation, detailing, and coordination within the Revit model and final construction documents.
  • Develop and monitor a realistic project schedule, allocating tasks across the drafting team while ensuring efficiency and accountability.
  • Anticipate risks (delays, design changes, coordination gaps) and propose proactive solutions.

What you'll need to know

  • A bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Extensive experience leading architectural teams through all design phases.
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to oversee schedules, deliverables, and quality assurance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, AOR, and consultants.
  • A strong understanding of permitting requirements and technical documentation standards.
  • An advanced English level.
