We’re looking for a Semi Senior Electrical Engineer to collaborate with one of our Bahamas-based clients dedicated to residential and light commercial solar panel systems. What you will do

Design residential and small commercial solar energy systems, using provided electrical and roof plans to propose smart, efficient layouts.
Analyze energy demand (based on devices like A/Cs, TVs, appliances, etc.) to define solar system specifications.
Use creativity and technical skill to optimize panel distribution across various roof types.
Maintain project tracking and documentation using Smartsheet.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure designs align with client expectations and local regulations.

What you'll need to know

3 + years of experience designing electrical or solar systems (residential/commercial).
Familiarity with solar energy design and electrical load estimation.
Strong Excel skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and architectural plans.
Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Advanced English level.
Experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
