We’re looking for a Semi Senior Cost Estimator to join a fast-paced team focused on precision, speed, and clarity. If you enjoy producing accurate takeoffs, organizing complex information, and helping teams move faster from drawings to bids, this role is for you. This is a Full Time opportunity supporting projects in Florida, so availability to work on Eastern Time (ET) is required. Apply now!

What you will do

Create detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural drawings, primarily from PDF plan sets.
Convert and trace PDF drawings into CAD when needed to improve measurement speed and accuracy.
Build clear, supplier-ready breakdowns including unit matrices, quantities, dimensions, and totals.
Prepare tables by unit type and model (unit counts, square footage, totals, etc.).
Identify and clearly call out fabrication details required by factories and suppliers (e.g., polished edges, profiles).
Highlight exact measurements (length, width) and ensure drawings are fully marked up and ready for pricing.
Support bid preparation by organizing outputs so the team can move quickly from takeoff to submission.
Maintain accuracy, clarity, and consistency across multiple concurrent projects.

What you'll need to know

Strong experience with construction-related takeoffs, estimating, and quantity calculations.
Background in architecture, drafting, or technical design (we’re looking for someone who truly understands drawings).
Comfort working from PDF plan sets and producing clean, structured deliverables.
Ability to work with AutoCAD or similar tools for PDF-to-CAD workflows.
High attention to detail with the ability to work fast under tight deadlines.
Clear communication skills and a proactive mindset when clarifying scope or improving workflows.
Advanced English level.
Reliable availability and a predictable schedule, with interest in long-term growth.

A great plus

Experience with countertops, stone surfaces, quartz, solid surface scopes, or fabrication-oriented takeoffs.
Experience creating factory-friendly markups, edge callouts, and fabrication notes.
Comfort working with shared folders and collaborative tools (e.g., OneDrive).
