Are you a detail-loving drafter with a passion for interior architecture? We’re looking for a Senior Interior Designer/Drafter to collaborate remotely with our client, a California-based firm. What you will do

  • Support the design and drafting process across all project phases, from concept to construction documents.
  • Produce bid, permit, and construction drawing sets using Vectorworks.
  • Review and redline progress sets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare construction documents that include site plans, accessibility standards, and construction details.
  • Draft millwork elevations and architectural detailing.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams (MEP) and incorporate their drawings into your documentation.
  • Apply California building codes to create compliant space plans and documents.

What you'll need to know

  • A degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
  • Strong Proficiency in Vectorworks and strong drafting skills.
  • Hands-on experience with commercial and medical office/senior healthcare projects.
  • Familiarity with California building codes and the ability to work with minimal oversight.
  • Understanding of how design choices impact the user experience within built environments.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Advanced English level.

A great plus

  • NCIDQ or CID certification preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with Revit or Architectural Desktop is a plus.
  • Previous experience taking projects from design through construction administration.
