What you will do

Support the design and drafting process across all project phases, from concept to construction documents.
Produce bid, permit, and construction drawing sets using Vectorworks.
Review and redline progress sets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Prepare construction documents that include site plans, accessibility standards, and construction details.
Draft millwork elevations and architectural detailing.
Coordinate with engineering teams (MEP) and incorporate their drawings into your documentation.
Apply California building codes to create compliant space plans and documents.

What you'll need to know

A degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
Strong Proficiency in Vectorworks and strong drafting skills.
Hands-on experience with commercial and medical office/senior healthcare projects.
Familiarity with California building codes and the ability to work with minimal oversight.
Understanding of how design choices impact the user experience within built environments.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Advanced English level.

A great plus

NCIDQ or CID certification preferred, but not required.
Experience with Revit or Architectural Desktop is a plus.
Previous experience taking projects from design through construction administration.
