Are you passionate about architectural lighting design? Do you have experience creating lighting layouts in CAD and Revit, and bringing spaces to life through light and detail? This opportunity is for you! We’re looking for a Semi Senior Architectural Lighting Designer to collaborate with a New York–based design office dedicated exclusively to architectural lighting. You’ll need to be available to work on PST (Pacific Standard Time) for this Part-Time or Full-Time position.

What you will do

  • Design lighting layouts and detailed drawings in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Build photometric calculations from Rhino 3D models using AGI32.
  • Join meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and manufacturers to stay aligned with project goals.
  • Manage your time effectively to anticipate workloads, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
  • Apply knowledge of top-quality lighting manufacturers in the U.S. and internationally.
  • Contribute creative ideas that elevate the aesthetic and functional value of every project.

What you'll need to know

  • +3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Architectural Lighting Design.
  • Proficiency in AGI32, AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, InDesign, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of lighting codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Attention to detail and creativity in design.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • An advanced English level.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset to optimize processes.

A great plus

  • Familiarity with Revit is beneficial.
  • Experience in educational or daycare projects is a plus.
  • Experience with projects in Colorado.
