One of our Florida-based clients is looking for a Structural Design Engineer to join their team full-time, supporting residential and multifamily developments across the state.

What you will do

  • Develop 3D Building Information Models (BIM) and structural analysis models using industry-standard software.
  • Perform computer-aided and hand-calculated structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, masonry, and timber systems.
  • Prepare construction documents, structural plans, and details using Revit.
  • Coordinate structural design with architects and other engineering disciplines.
  • Review structural submittals and RFIs while supporting project documentation.
  • Assist with construction observation and special inspections, preparing field reports and documentation.
  • Produce organized structural calculations and high-quality engineering deliverables aligned with project standards.
  • Support Project Managers and Project Engineers while contributing to multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Track time, communicate task progress, and help maintain project schedules and priorities.

What you'll need to know

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Advanced English level.
  • +4 years of experience in structural engineering design.
  • Experience working on residential or multifamily projects.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and structural analysis tools such as RAM Structural System (RAM SS).
  • Strong understanding of structural analysis, statics, and mechanics of materials.
  • Familiarity with U.S. building codes and standards, including FBC, IBC, and ASCE 7.
  • Knowledge of material design standards such as ACI 318 and the AISC Steel Construction Manual.
  • Experience designing structures using concrete, wood framing, and steel framing systems.

A great plus

  • Experience with RAM Concept, Enercalc, or similar structural analysis software.
  • Exposure to construction observation, inspections, or field reporting.
  • Familiarity with BIM standards and structural documentation workflows.
