What you will do

  • Design and draft piping, boilers, AIR SIDE RTUs, and ductwork, including major mechanical components and associated pumps, valves, piping, and instrumentation.
  • Assist in sizing and optimizing HVAC ductwork systems.
  • Support heat and cooling load calculations for complete HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and design packages.
  • Review engineering designs for compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Propose alternative solutions to improve quality and troubleshoot issues during design and construction phases.
  • Participate in project updates, bid package estimates, and bid closing efforts.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.

What you'll need to know

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of relevant drafting/design experience.
  • Strong knowledge of designing HVAC system services, including ducting and piping.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HAP.
  • Solid command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced English level.
  • Strong initiative, accountability, and enthusiasm for tackling challenges.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work with leadership and project management to meet client deadlines.
