We’re looking for a Mechanical Designer to collaborate remotely with one of our clients, a Colorado-based engineering firm specializing in industrial and commercial projects. What you will do

Design and draft piping, boilers, AIR SIDE RTUs, and ductwork, including major mechanical components and associated pumps, valves, piping, and instrumentation.
Assist in sizing and optimizing HVAC ductwork systems.
Support heat and cooling load calculations for complete HVAC systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and design packages.
Review engineering designs for compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Propose alternative solutions to improve quality and troubleshoot issues during design and construction phases.
Participate in project updates, bid package estimates, and bid closing efforts.
Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.

What you'll need to know

A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3+ years of relevant drafting/design experience.
Strong knowledge of designing HVAC system services, including ducting and piping.
Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HAP.
Solid command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Advanced English level.
Strong initiative, accountability, and enthusiasm for tackling challenges.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work with leadership and project management to meet client deadlines.
