What you will do

Develop 3D Building Information Models (BIM) and 3D structural analysis/design models using advanced software for projects of all complexities.
Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing (computer-aided and hand calculations) for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems, including highly complex structures.
Prepare Construction Documents in Autodesk & Revit.
Coordinate structural design with architects and other engineering disciplines at an intermediate level.
Review structural submittals and RFIs of all levels of complexity.
Conduct Construction Observation and Special Inspections for internal and external projects.
Produce field observation, inspection, and investigative reports aligned with client guidelines.
Discuss allocated hours per task with the Project Manager and assist with introductory project management activities.
Provide introductory supervision to Engineers

What you'll need to know

4+ years of structural engineering experience.
Advanced understanding of model building codes (FBC, IBC).
Advanced knowledge of design standards such as ASCE-7.
Strong understanding of material codes and standards (ACI-318, AISC Steel Construction Manual).
Familiarity with BIM, design, and drawing presentation standards.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, RAM SS, RAM Concept, Enercalc, and related software.
Solid grasp of statics, mechanics of materials, and structural analysis (traditional and matrix-based).
Advanced understanding of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber design methodologies.
Knowledge of field observation and inspection techniques for large and complex projects.
Ability to produce logical, accurate engineering results supported by clear, well-organized calculations.
Advanced English level.

A great plus

Experience working with Florida projects.
Experience using client-specific standards such as JG design, BIM, and drawing presentation guidelines.
Construction field experience on large or complex structures.
